Remedial Works at Abbey Hall Cinema: Ensuring Safety and Longevity
We recently had the privilege of working on the remedial works for the roof structure of the historic Abbey Hall Cinema. Our client required a specialised coating to encapsulate areas containing asbestos, ensuring both safety and durability.
To address this need, we utilised a low-pressure spray machine to apply SerpiCoat, a thick bridging encapsulant/sealant specifically formulated for application over intact Asbestos Containing Material (ACM). This process was meticulously carried out over an area exceeding 500m², covering both concrete and timber surfaces.
Our team is proud to have contributed to the preservation and safety of such a cherished landmark. The application of SerpiCoat not only encapsulates the asbestos but also provides a durable seal, ensuring the structure remains safe for years to come.
